Orange Sunrise

Tom Mulcair just came out of his first federal leaders’ debate in #elxn42 — and most commentators agree that he knocked it out of the park. (Or that he and Elizabeth May did.)

But I’m not going to go on about politics too much right now. There are plenty of other people already posting endlessly about the debate, if you’re interested.

Sunrise over East York (Orange)

It was just so darned orange.

Instead, I’m going to take the opportunity to post some heavily orange-tinted photos of a glorious sunrise that I saw a few mornings ago. Because… orange! And thematically fitting! Right? 😉

Here's a silhouette of a person, with the sunrise glinting off the glass windows.

Of course, downtown Toronto didn't look too shabby in that soft lighting.

And, last but not least, here's a three-frame panorama looking out over Rosedale, East York, and St. James Town. I encourage you to click the image to see it in full size!

I can do a million cheesy metaphors for this, but let’s leave it with a single one: the NDP’s orange wave is pouring across Toronto and painting our 22 ridings a vivid orange! 😉 And it’s going to be glorious when our progressive orange policies reach everyone in the city.

See, even Tom is winking for my pun, too!
